Break Up Letter

Your Task: Write a heartfelt break up letter with a concept from the unit. Be sure to let them down easily, but clearly explain why you’ve decided to leave them.
Instructions:
Write a multi-paragraph break up letter with a concept from this unit. It could be a person, document, or idea.
Paragraph 1: Summarize the concept. (It’s always a good idea to start your break ups by talking about your relationship in general terms.)
Paragraph 2: Explain the reasons you are breaking up. Be specific and use real concepts. You cannot break up with Abraham Lincoln for cheating on you. You could break up with him for suspending Habeas Corpus, however. (Break ups should be clear and factual. Ghosting is wrong and so is saying, “it’s not you, it’s me.” Be honest!)
Paragraph 3: Explain how your now-ex could improve so their future relationships could go more smoothly. What improvements do they need to make? (This is either a chance for you to show you still want the best for this person, or to really dig the knife deeper into their wounded heart. Either way, it’s a win for you!)
