Clustr Maps

I'll admit there's a certain vanity to having your own website. It's fun to count hits and visits. I put it only slightly above constantly checking one's friends or followers on social media. Thanks to Clustr Maps though I have an excuse! I get to post a map on my page that shows where the visitors are coming from. This has led to some cool conversations with my kids about far off locations. Plus, they think it is so cool that their work can be seen by people all over the world.

Some fun stats:
Since August of 2010 the Mrroughton.com has had over 54,000 visits.
15,000 of those visits have come from California.
Ohio is the number two visitor at over 2,500 visits.
Over 20 countries including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Japan and Germany have visited more than Wyoming.
Canada is the number 1 visiting non-US country, followed by Australia.
I've had visitors from every continent except Antarctica.
Belize has only visited the site once. Come on Belize, step it up.

Thank you everyone who reads and visits. I love putting this stuff out there and hearing from you all. I can't wait to see where we are in the next three years.
